Rob Holub
International singer/songwriter Rob Holub's music is an intoxicating blend of European chic and edgy American Pop. Since his move to New York City in 2007, he has worked with award-winning music legends like Grammy winning producer Marc Urselli (who has worked with Sting, Eric Clapton and ZZ Top) and Mike Visceglia, the longtime bassist and musical director for Suzanne Vega (who has also recorded with Bruce Springsteen and Jackson Browne). Rob is a sought after performer in New York City where he draws a lively crowd playing his piano and singing his original music.
Born in Switzerland to Czech parents Rob is world traveled and writes lyrics in both English and French. He has a bi-lingual Masters in Communications and trains with renowned vocal coach Elizabeth Zueblin Tymoshenko.
“My songs are cross cultural focusing on love, longing, relationships and social issues,” says Rob. “In my music I infuse elements of Pop, R&B and French Chanson so there’s something for everyone.” His music reflects him as an artist with character, torn between singularity and vulnerability.
Rob Holub is also gaining national and international attention for his work with Emmy award-winning author Karen Schaler to co-create the first theme song for a book. The book, “TRAVEL THERAPY: Where Do You Need to Go?” features more than 100 global destinations based on what you’re going through in life. Rob’s TRAVEL THERAPY theme song uplifts and empowers even when you’re not able to jump on a plane. WACBIZ welcomes this talented artist!
