Marc Trachtenberg
He knew it was all about the piano as soon as he played his first recital at the age of 7 in his hometown of Pawtuckett, RI. Soon his parents and teachers turned him onto new sounds: jazz greats like Miles Davis, and rock icons like the Beatles and Billy Joel. Marc picked up a pen and wrote his first song. As he began listening to more diverse styles, like Stevie Wonder and Ben Folds, he honed his approach to songwriting. Trachtenberg's music appeals to his audiences through pop hooks, expressive lyrics and powerful vocals. His focus on writing and playing with musical integrity gives Marc his edge.
