Jason Downs
Jason Downs is an American singer/songwriter whose work has been lauded primarily in Europe so far. He has released two albums on Jive Records overseas, "White Boy With a Feather" and "The Spin". His CD singles include; "White Boy With a Feather", "Revenue", "Cherokee", "Trippin'", and more. As a musical artist he appeared in many British variety shows including Top of the Pops, CD:UK, Mtv and The Big Breakfast. Since his time in the European pop market, Jason's songs and lyrical style have matured along with his rich baritone and storytelling. On his own now and back home, the new songs are reminiscent of his earlier love for sweet, sad rock 'n roll and his deeper roots in folk and country. The new material is much more raw and intimate while remaining accessible and hopeful. You could liken him to a contemporary Johnny Cash.
