Head Chemists' debut album, "Bittersweet Melody" follows a fresh production concept by being a mixture of opposing elements. Musically, Head Chemists bring seemingly unrelated sounds and instruments together to create their unique "Chem Pop" sound. The music of Head Chemists employs many techniques, from blending acoustic guitar and vocals with sweeping synthesizers to sampling JFK speeches and making him 'rap' to the backing of bagpipe-ridden hip-hop beats. The hour-long, 17 track, "Bittersweet Melody" tells the story of a day in the life of a Head Chemist.
