Fighting With Wire
Cahir O'Doherty(Guitar/Vox), Craig McKean(Drums) and Herb Magee(Bass) fill the room with their infectious energy, the rawness and passion of their music can be seen in their eyes. It is this energy which they have captured on a little round piece of plastic - Their EP's have finally given the growing army of fans something to play when FWW are not playing live - a rare occurence anyway. Already a favourite of BBC Northern Ireland's "Across The Line", Fighting With Wire have also had airplay on BBC Radio 1 and XFM, not to mention various student and internet radio broadcasters. Fighting With Wire are one of the most exciting new bands emerging from Northern Ireland. Their raw energetic sound has been filling venues in their homeland - they've only been together for two years. The music draws comparisons to Foo Fighters and Jimmy Eat World, Fugazi and AC/DC. They have three BBC sessions under their belt and made a specially commissioned video for the "Across The Line" TV show (BBC). They have embarked on UK and Irish tours, including the Kerrang Most Wanted tour in January with yourcodenameis:milo and Drive Like You Stole It as well as support slots with Million Dead and Biffy Clyro.
