Dealings with all major record labels and many film studios in Los Angeles and New York City have given Falk first hand knowledge of the filmmaking process and personal contacts with some of today’s most important filmmakers: Darren Aronofsky (Pi, Requiem For A Dream), David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, Red Dragon), Zach Snyder (Dawn of the Dead). With his deep appreciation of film and filmmaking, Falk’s training in piano and composition offers a creative and production savvy ally to any project. He knows how to manage the creative process towards completion on time and on budget. Known for his fierce protection of the creative essence of a film project, Falk approaches film scoring as an enthusiastic team member, providing a potent emotional layer to compliment story lines, characters and scenes. No budget is too small, including “no budget”, as Falk’s focus is project-first. His Harlem studio is producing some great results.
